How floatify works
How it works
Every coin on floatify is paired with an asset: SOL, USDC, a tokenized stock such as NVIDIA or Tesla, a pre-IPO name, or another token. Traders buy and sell the coin against that asset, and creator fees are paid in it.
Coins launch on Raydium LaunchLab with a fixed supply of 1,000,000,000 tokens and no mint or freeze authority. 73.25% of the supply is sold on a bonding curve that starts at a market cap of about $20,000. When the curve fills, at about 7.5× the starting price (≈ $150,000), the coin graduates: its liquidity moves to a Raydium pool and is locked forever.
The creator can buy first, in the same transaction as the launch. When available, coin addresses end in FLFY.
Fees
The creator picks a trading fee at launch. Every buy and sell on the curve pays it, split three ways:
| Tier | Raydium | floatify | Creator |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1.25% | 0.25% | 1% | 0% |
| 2% | 0.25% | 1.25% | 0.5% |
| 2.5% | 0.25% | 1.75% | 0.5% |
After graduation, trades on the coin's Raydium pool pay 1.25%: 0.75% to the locked liquidity (owned by floatify; Raydium keeps 16% of that part) and 0.5% to the creator (Raydium keeps 5% of the creator's part when it's claimed). $FLOATIFY, floatify's own token, pays 2.5% on its curve and 2.55% after graduation, all to the floatify treasury.
Creator fees build up in Raydium's creator-fee vault and are claimed by the fee wallet from its Portfolio or the coin page. After graduation they build up in the coin's Raydium pool and are claimed from the coin page. floatify never holds them.
Tickers
Tickers are 1 to 10 letters or numbers and are case-insensitive. Each ticker can be launched once for free; launching another coin with a ticker that already exists on floatify costs 1 SOL, paid to the floatify treasury. The original coin is not affected.
Risks
- Coins are highly volatile and can lose all of their value. Only use money you can afford to lose.
- A coin is not a share. Holding a coin paired with a tokenized stock gives no rights in the company or the stock.
- Tokenized stocks and other pairing assets are issued by third parties under their own terms, which may exclude some countries (for example, xStocks are not offered to US persons).
- Some pairing assets charge a transfer fee (PreStocks 1%, Tessera 0.2%), which makes each trade more expensive.
- Custom and thinly traded pairs can move sharply, and your coin's value moves with its pair.
- floatify does not run its own on-chain program. Launches and trades use Raydium's LaunchLab and CPMM programs, so their risks apply.
- Data shown on floatify may be delayed. The blockchain is the source of truth.
